Audio Support

On most PCs an audio-capable software (like QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Java) is already installed. It will be automatically detected and used.

Unfortunately we cannot test any possible combination of internet browsers and audio software (including the various available versions) upfront. Therefore, some combinations may cause problems, especially if older versions are being used.

Java Select Java for superior audio quality.

Flash Audio playback via Adobe Flash.

QuickTime Most used audio software on Apple Macs.

Windows Media Player Most used audio software for Internet Explorer.

External player Should this option be selected, audio playback will not be carried out by the browser. Instead, a link to a playlist file will be created that can be opened with any audio player.
